Olympus PEN E-P2 Specifications and Price ~ Olympus E-P2 is a compact camera with DSLR sensor and lens
mount. Olympus E-P2 can be said to be the improvement of the Olympus E-P1. E-P2
comes with a few changes. The camera that was announced in November 2009,
adopting a style of retro-styled E-P1 with a 12.3 MP sensor, HD video, and
built-in stabilization, and a few other minor enhancements. A major new
device is added in the form of accessories that are placed underneath and
behind the flash hotshoe.
There are two accessories. First accessories that serve
to exploit port, the VF-2 high-resolution electronic viewfinder which is
usually bundled with the E-P2.Accessories second is external microphone input
that serves to improve the quality of the audio in the movie mode. Other
additions are two new Art Filters, i-Enhance Picture Mode, the addition of
manual exposure control for movies, AF tracking and support for the KPK, which
allows control of the camera with the HDMI compatible TV.
To further differentiate the E-P2 predecessors, can be seen
from the elegant black color. E-P2 black while the E-P1 silver. But
matters of color might not be questioned, because it concerns the taste. But
actually the Olympus E-P2 is physically identical to the Olympus E-P1. There
are only two differences, which in color as mentioned earlier and the body
design is slightly raised to make room for the hotshoe new accessory port.
